It was advertised as a VST usable in Sonar. I cannot even load the Kontact player without totally crashing X3. That's a shame because I like Acoustic Legends. I am in Poly Mode.I find this product quite unusable and the support very bad. I often cannot get the product to play two notes at the same time, even though they can easily be played at the same time on an actual guitar.
The sound is fantastic, it's energetic and lively (going through Amplitube 2), sounds completely real (better than real in the sense that it sounds like a far better guitarist than I am on a real guitar, being a keyboardist), and. And, it's not complex at all, it's just very very flexible.

I think the only way to do vibrato properly is with physical modeling and that is something that Mokafix Audio is working towards. Sure, the vibrato could be done a bit better and maybe VIR2 will work towards better vibrato. They tried, that's the best thing anyone could do - try. But anyway, something can be said of the herculean effort that went into this virtual instrument that many would consider phenomenal. Or at least, a hell of a stepping stone to whatever the winner may be.Unfortunately such is the limitation of sampling. Get this fixed, and this company's got a winner.

Hearing a mellow blues on a hollow-body Gibson suddenly take on shades of wanksmanship, due to vibrato alone, is like watching a video of Gandhi, and seeing the face of Idi Amin swirl into focus momentarily whenever he says the word "is". The biggest flaw is that all vibrato, irrespective of guitar make, seems to invoke an Yngwie subroutine. Or at least, a hell of a stepping stone to whatever the winner may be.
